Your Child's First Visit

According to the Academy of Pediatrics, a child’s first dental visit should be at the age of one year. This visit will allow your family to acquaint yourselves with our office and our staff. You will find this appointment very pleasant and very informative. We will discuss and demonstrate oral hygiene, fluorides and the prevention of dental disease. After an oral examination of your child we will answer all of your questions and address any concerns. We recommend that a child’s first cleaning and fluoride treatment occur at age two and a half to three and every six months thereafter.

We strive to provide a fun and supportive environment for children. We will always tell your child about each procedure and how it works, show your child what it looks like and then perform the procedure when they are comfortable. We will only use the most comforting and positive words and phrases when talking to your child.

Our goal is for both you and your child to leave our office calm, happy and smiling from ear to ear!
